A Note from Our Nurse

Please do not send in any medications to school with your child (including an inhaler, Tylenol, or prescription medication). If your child needs to take medication at school, there is a form that needs to be filled out by your physician. This form may be obtained in the school clinic or by downloading below. Parents must bring the form and the medication tot he school nurse in person.

A child should stay home...

  • If they have a fever of 100 degrees or more. They should stay home until they have not had a fever for 24 hours.
  • If they have vomiting or diarrhea. They should stay home until it has been 24 hours since the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea.
  • If they have an unidentified rash or skin condition.
  • If they have colored mucous, which may indicate infection.
  • With specific conditions, such as, the presence of head lice or nits, scabies, pink eye or ringworm, until properly treated.
