Announcements:

  • The 2006-2007 school year is going to be better than ever!
  • I am teaching 5th Grade Chorus along with my general music classes for K-5. Tuesday, September 26th was our first day of Chorus. We are working hard on correct singing techniques and Holiday Show music. It should be a hit!
  • Fourth Grade students will be playing the recorder this year. Each student will need to buy their own recorder for $4.55. Money can be given to the classroom teacher. We will learn how to read music and play the recorder during the next five months so we can perform for our families during the PTA Spring Show!
  • We will sing, move, and play instruments this year during your child’s music classes. We have a wonderful assortment of rhythm instruments and barred instruments that will be used to reinforce Music SOLs. We even use music to reinforce your child’s Classroom SOLs!
