| FOOD LION Exhibit - Arrowhead student art work will be exhibited at the Princess Anne Road Food Lion through out the year YAM - March is YOUTH ART MONTH – activities will be announced Hall Exhibits- Be sure to check out what’s going on in the art room by enjoying student art work on exhibit in the halls throughout the school. Original Works-(spring 2007)- is a PTA fundraiser that allows parents to purchase a large variety of items decorated with their children’s art work Permanent Art Work – One piece of 5th grade art work will be selected to be framed and permanently exhibited at Arrowhead. The student’s name will be announced at the graduation ceremony. Golden Brush Award- One 5th grade student will be selected to receive the GOLDEN BRUSH AWARD for outstanding effort, attitude, and behavior in the art room. Arrowhead 2007-2008 Calendar- drawings will be worked on throughout the year. Drawings for the calendar will be selected and announced in June 2007. |

| I am a graduate of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania . My family includes my husband, three children, two grandchildren, a dog named Mocha and a bird named Spike. Animals are important to our family. My daughter is a veterinarian and my daughter-in-law is the head zoo keeper at the Richmond zoo. I am very happy to be the art specialist at Arrowhead Elementary . I'm looking forward to an exciting year working with your children as they explore, express, create, and discover in the art room! | |
